It is most effective on light to medium skin tones and dark hair colors. Ensure your skin tone and hair body color combination is suitable for IPL.

Do not use the IPL device if:

• your skin tone or hair color is not suitable for IPL;
• you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18 years of age, as this device has not been tested on people with these characteristics;
• you have a history of skin cancer or precancerous lesions (e.g., moles or a large number of spots);
• your skin has an artificial or natural tan;
• you have a chronic illness;
• you have a chronic skin condition (e.g., psoriasis or vitiligo);
• you know that your skin is sensitive to sunlight or you are taking medication that may make your skin more sensitive.

IPL should not be used on or around recently tanned skin (naturally or artificially), freckles, birthmarks, spots, warts, tattoos, damaged skin, varicose veins, scars, areas undergone recent professional peeling treatments, permanent makeup, oron areas of skin where dermal fillers are present.

Do not use the device near the eyes, along the forehead, or on the nipples. On women, in the pubic area,do not use on mucous membranes such as the labia minora, vagina, or the anus. On men, do not use on the face, neck, or genital area. Usage on male beards or facial hair may lead to permanent or uneven results, which may produce changes in facial characteristics that may not be desirable.

Do not use more than once a week on the same area. Skin damage may occur after prolonged or repeated treatment on one site.
