Although sebum is an essential feature of a healthy scalp, its overproduction can result not only in the asphyxiation of the hair follicles, but also in an unsightly, greasy appearance. With this in mind, this shampoo helps rebalance very oily scalps without disturbing their delicate balance.
The 92% natural formula is rich in citric, glycolic, malic, and tocaric acids, all of which are gentle exfoliating actives present in various fruits. It is through the combined action of these fruit acids that this shampoo is able to provide a gentle exfoliating action; not only does it cleanse the scalp and remove existing oil build-up, it also helps regulate sebum production. This ensures that the scalp produce less and less sebum over time. This results in a feeling of enduring freshness and lightness.
